New season of The Voice AU includes two new judges!

“The biggest show on television is about to get bigger with the announcement of the year…”

The popular broadcasted singing competition, The Voice Australia, has announced two new judges that will be replacing former judges, golden beauty Delta Goodrem and fingernail faux-pas, Seal. The news has been announced by the new credible judges, pop princess, Kylie Minogue and Black Eyed Peas ringmaster, Will.I.Am through their social network platforms.

Kylie Minogue had no problem sharing her excitement to come back to Australia for her new role on national TV,“I look forward to spending time in Australia, getting up close and personal with new talent and working alongside the three amazing artists.” As for Will.I.Am, no public response has been released as of yet. For the fans of the former judges, don’t fret, they do have plans to remain on the music and TV scene. Seal has confirmed several new exciting projects for his fans, stating, “To my Australian fans, sorry to not be back for this upcoming season but I wanted this window of time to focus on a number of exciting career priorities – a new album, a TV and internet project and, most importantly, precious time with my children.” Can’t blame the guy for following his passion and being a good father.

Pop sweetheart, Delta Goodrem, also plans on writing new music and has also been downsized to coach on the hit-show’s first ever spinoff, “The Voice Kids”. Along with Seal, Delta has released a long, heartfelt statement on her instagram account, which you can read here (if you have the time).

As for Joel Madden and Ricky Martin, they have confirmed to kick-on in the show’s new season next year…so there will be some familiar faces…and some familiar eye-candy for the ladies.

In the meantime, here’s a promo to get you excited for next year’s season.

The Offspring twitter trolls Offspring tv fans!

Shoutout to the popular band and Soundwave 2013 headliner ‘The Offspring’ for managing one of the biggest twitter trolls for many Australians who are fans of the popular TV medical drama series ‘Offspring’. You can see where this is going, right?

Turns out there was a huge outcry on Twitter and Facebook from OTT upset fans about a devastating yet fictitious death that happened to one of the most good-looking popular characters on the show. So as many upset TV fans do on twitter, there was a lot of emotional response directed at the @offspring–little did they know that they were directing their responses to the wrong  Offspring. But hey, we all make mistakes when we’re upset.

Anyway, the band received so much misdirected and emotional attention, they decided to take advantage of the situation (cause sympathizing is so 90’s) and have a bit of fun with the upset fans as seen in the images below. Hey, you gotta give them credit for trying to brighten up the ‘other’ fans’ evening, right? All in good fun.

Chris Brown Possible Four Years Jail

Chirs Brown could be facing up to four years in jail due to breaking his probation, America’s D.A. has claimed. Brown received five years probation after he assaulted ex-girlfriend and musician Rihanna but broke it after reportedly fleeing the scene of a car accident without leaving the correct information in early May.

However Brown continues to claim his innocence posting a tweet after the news broke “It’s not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous.”

Continuing on Monday with “I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C’mon!!”

The Judge, however, claims Brown should suffer the consequences of a broken probation and he broke the law “willfully and unlawfully.” His sentence will be revealed in the next month.

Jay Z has the answers to our questions

Have you ever lied in bed just wondering what Jay Z’s 99 problems were? What his favourite Britney Spears song was? His favourite cereal? Well have no fear, because yesterday Jay Z caused twitter frenzy as his answered all the unanswered questions his fans had proposed on his account.

He began on July 8th obviously disregarding his self imposed twitter hiatus, answering questions from fans who used the hashtag #MCHG that day.

Jay-Z promised to resume tweeting no sooner than 2014, so his rapid-fire tweets came as a surprise to everyone, causing #MCHG to become a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. “Jay-Z” and “Magna Carta Holy Grail” have been mentioned nearly half a million times on Twitter since the album premiered, which is why this rukas could be seen as an innovative advertising ploy for his newest album, “Magna Carta Holy Grail,” which was released on July 9th.

By the way his favourite Britney song is toxic…

The Roots are coming back people!

Band leader and drummer Questlove, released the news on twitter stating that they will be in Australia on the 26th of Dec and are planning on staying for a week in 2013. The Roots were regulars to Australia, starting out at the Vivid Festival in 2003 then coming back in 07 for a Blues and Roots festival. PSY Imposter Fools People In Cannes Film Festival

An impostor who pretended to be Korean pop sensation, ‘PSY’ fooled everyone at the Cannes Film Festival last Tuesday night.

The impostor who is believed to be a 34 year-old man named Dennis Carre from Clermont-Ferrand, used PSY’s identity to attend festival parties and events as well as posing in photos with other celebrities which were posted on Twitter and Instagram.

The real PSY, who was in Singapore at the time, found one of the photos on Twitter and replied “Seems like there’s another ME at Cannes…say ‘Hi’ to him. #PSYinSINGAPORE”

Dennis Carre’s sly manoeuvre has been hailed as one of the best celebrity doppelganger stunts of all-time.

He would’ve had us fooled!
