The Swedish House Mafia Sydney show was probably the best concert I had ever seen in my life…it was full of energy, great fans, AMAZING music and 3 incredibly talented DJ’s that I am devastated will no longer be working together =(
So here’s a little trip down memory lane of when Ingrosso, Axwell and Angello sat down together as SHM for an interview with VEVO News.
PS I still have my fingers crossed for a comeback!!!
2012 was a huge year for dance music, championed by the every growing club scene in Las Vegas, an influx of national tours and festivals and the undeniable mainstream acceptance of the “EDM” sound. Only a week into the new year and 2013 is already proving to be an even bigger one for our beloved genre – made abundantly clear today as the Wynn properties (Encore Beach Club, Surrender, Tryst, XS) have just announced their expansive residency roster for the upcoming year. From Bassnectarto DavidGuetta, Aviciito LocoDice, Wynn’s extensive cadre of nightclubs have the sounds to satisfy the full spectrum of electronic music fans.
Managing partner of XS, JesseWaits, had this to say;
“Our team has worked day and night to present an unrivaled roster of residencies again in 2013 including both major headliners and the DJs we believe to be the next superstars of this genre. We hope to maintain our reputation as the mecca of dance music through these exclusive partnerships.”
Check out the full list of residencies after the break.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in regards to the group’s breakup, Angello said that “we just decided that we reached a point where we didn’t know what the next move would be,” and that “we’ve had beyond our dreams and we’ve come very, very far”; Angello also stated that he is focusing on developing his own label, Size Records, while on hiatus.
On September 24, 2012, Swedish House Mafia announced the dates for their farewell tour appropriately named “One Last Tour.” The tour will kick off in November 2012 and conclude in March 2013.Due to extremely high demand, additional shows have been added and the group is also set to make a final appearance at the Ultra Music Festivalwith an opening and closing set on March 15 and March 24, 2013, respectively.
The world of music will miss these music legends but their music lives on to remain Swedish House Mafia’s legacy
