The 23 year old American country artist turned princess pop star kicked off her opening Australian THE RED TOUR at Allianz Stadium in Sydney on Wednesday 4 December. Taylor Swift’s musicality is undeniable as she lived up to the live vocals and entertained the 40,000 fans in attendance with a musical-like act rather than a conventional concert. Taylor was happy to sing and dance as well as talk about love, heartbreak, emotions and mean people. Although her dancing may not be the greatest, her talent and confidence dominated the stage.
Taylor also injected some local spontaneity with an ‘Aussie Aussie Aussie’ chant.
Taylor Swift’s next concert in Australia will be at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, followed by Perth’s nib Stadium and finishing it off on 14 December at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium.
