Canadian DJ A- Trak is the latest phenomenal everyone is obsessed with. He’s remixed the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Martin Solveig, the Justice and more and now the Fools Good Records boss is back with a new remix “Trying To Be Cool”, a track off Phoenix’s recently released album ‘Bankrupt’.
A-Trak told Rolling Stone “I’ve been a fan of Phoenix since their first album, so I was really excited to take this one on,” A-Trak says of the mix. “I also love remixing a song that has a memorable vocal. I try to make a new song out of it, but theirs was already great. Hopefully people enjoy mine too.”
Rusko will be dropping his much anticipated new EP called ‘Lift Me Up’ on July 2. To celebrate signing with a new label, he released the first track from the EP called ‘Takeoff”. It is a full-throttle-drum and bass track amped up with Jay-Z in the background sinking into the unique jungle inspired beat.
“I grew up listening to drum-and-bass and jungle music,” Rusko tells Rolling Stone. “I felt it was time to reflect this by making some of my very own. This really is the definition of music from the heart.”

DESTROID definitely knows how to put on a show. First clips of their live show, reveals DESTROID’s put on a rock star performance to a full house of energetic crowd.
They mesmerized the crowd with their robotic moves, outstanding lighting production, eye catching robotic attire and fast paced electro – dance music.
While everyone enjoyed the show, legendary electronic musician London Elektricity was left unimpressed. London Elektricity’s Tony Colman was quick to express his frustration on twitter “ this perfectly encapsulates how utterly and completely shit ‘EDM’ is”, explaining it made him “very angry”.
Things got ugly with Sawka responding “For your information this is live, what the f**k else would I be doing”, while Excision was disappointed to see one of his idols he grew up listening to “Take the time to hate publicly and unnecessarily”.
Colman did not articulate, his reasons behind his tweets. Its not clear if he was reviewing the groups music or performance.
