Knife Party’s New Album Coming Soon…May-be

Last August, Knife Party member Rob Swire dropped news regarding the group’s long anticipated full-length album. Swire announced on Twitter that the Knife Party album would ‘probably’ be released sometime before the end of 2014. Now, Swire has tweeted again that he has dedicated this May for “album finishing”.  The album will be the duo’s first full-length album, with previous releases consisting of EPs and singles. Their previous EP ‘Haunted Houses’ was released last May. Completion of the album draws closer despite Knife Party’s numerous future performances. Knife Party currently has several gigs lined up with the duo performing at: Tomorrowland (Belgium), Spring Awakening Festival (Chicago) and Veld Festival (Toronto).

EDC – Electric Daisy Carnival in 2013!

EDC01

Pasquale Rotella confirmed Chicago as a destination on Electric Daisy Carnival’s road to Vegas last month, and the official announcement has finally been made. EDC Chicago will span Memorial Day Weekend as rumored and will take place at the windy city’s Chicagoland Speedway. After its success in Las Vegas, the festival has touched down in New York, Orlando, and Puerto Rico; and now, Chicago will be graced with Electric Daisy Carnival on May 24th, 25th, and 26th — but here’s the kicker: Chicago will be the first to offer camping.

Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, January 23rd at 12pm CST. Jump below the break for ticket and camping information along with a message from Pasquale Rotella.

Three-day passes will be initially priced at $175, with VIP passes priced at $299. Festival and camping three-day passes will cost $295, $419 for VIP.

“This is  the first EDC that will offer fans the opportunity to camp while enjoying the festival and I know
that the Chicagoland Speedway is the ideal location. I’m really excited we’ve added Chicago to
the EDC family of festivals.”
