Winners of the Billboard Music Awards 2014

Justin Timberlake was the big winner at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, receiving 7 trophies on the night including Top Artist and Top Male Artist. Other winners included Imagine Dragons with five, and Pharrell, Robin Thicke and T.I. each scoring four apiece.

Jennifer Lopez was also a big winner of the evening. The star was presented with the prestigious Icon Award, making her the first woman and first Latina in Billboard’s history to receive it. The pop diva also gave a live performance of her new single, First Love, as well as the new FIFA World Cup anthem, We Are One (Ole Ola), alongside Pitbull and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte.

Other performers included Katy Perry, Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande, One Republic, Miley Cyrus and Flaming Dragons and Michael Jackson, who appeared via hologram for a posthumous rendition of A Slave to the Rhythm, from the late star’s new album, Xscape.

Justin Timberlake drops new video for single”Takes Back The Night”

Justin Timberlake has released a new video for new single “Take Back The Night”. The 32-year-old singer debuted the video Tuesday, which marks the first single off “The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2,” due out in September.

Shot on location in New York City, Timberlake is seen enjoying The Big Apple for all it’s worth -WATCH NOW!!

Jay Z & JT Unleash ‘Holy Grail’ Duet

The time has come fellow music lovers! Raise your hands in the air and sing Hallelujah, for the Holy Grail duet has finally been released for everybody to hear…well, nearly everyone.

That’s right, the duet from Jay Z’s anticipated album Monte Carlo Holy Grail has just been released to download–only catch is that the song is only available for those who hold a Samsung Galaxy phone. One of the downfalls of having a music artist partnered with a technology company.

For the rest of the Iphone, HTC, or other phone users, you can listen to the full song on Youtube here. Judging by the comments on the Youtube site, there’s been a mix of reviews but one thing is for sure–Jay Z’s album will receive a lot of attention.

Jay Z and Justin Timberlake ‘Revive’ Nirvana

Turns out Nirvana isn’t only popular among the grunge lovers.

Good friends and popular musicians, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake, are planning on adding Nirvana lyrics to the song “Holy Grail” in Jay Z’s upcoming album Magna Carta Holy Grail. One piece of lyric is from Nirvana’s hit song ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ :”And we all just / Entertainers / And we’re stupid / And contagious.” The song also features the following Nirvana lyric: “Nobody to blame / Kurt Cobain / I did it to myself”.
