Spotify has just recently announced the one song that has earned the title for gaining the most streams with its groundbreaking record of 200 million streams as well as racking up 3.8 million+ per week globally! If you need a clue of who this artist is, he not only recently did an Australian tour just last month but was also a headliner for the Future Music Festival last year.
That’s right, it’s none other than the Swedish wonderproducer, Avicci, for his massive hit track “Wake Me Up” feat Aloe Blacc that has earned the most streams on Spotify. Avicci couldnt be more pleased with the announcement, stating, “I’m so excited to be the first artist to reach 200 million streams on Spotify. I’ve had an amazing year, so a massive thanks to all my fans!”
Avicii is currently on his way to LA and Dubai to perform live for his fans and possibly gain more streams. Congratulations Avicci!
