ElectroStepNetwork has released a recently track on their Youtube page, sampling Martin Luther King’s famous speech “I Have A Dream” to create an original mix. This was uploaded just a day before the official Martin Luther King Day. Take a listen by clicking the play button below! Let me know if you enjoyed this most inspirational speech delivered to you in a dance music fashion. This track has samples of plenty things from the video game of Super Mario to the song “I Know I Can” by Nas. The beginning of the track sounds like something out of a video game, then it kicks off to be a very raw sound of instrumental synthesizers and samples a bit of dance with the drumkit. After the one minute mark, elements of house and raw dubstep can be heard, no doubt. Bringing back childhood memories to those who have played Mario and have listened to the track from Nas when it was released in early 2000, and giving it a modern day feel with elements of dance, dubstep and house! Awesome track. Let me know what you thought of the song by commenting below!
Datsik went on a trap binge this weekend, reinventing the womps and wobbles of two of his original songs: “Swagga” and “BonafideHustler.” “Swagga” has been getting play time during his Firepower tour and live videos from the event indicate that the reaction has been appropriately massive. While many of Datsik’s productions are too hard for this dubstep weakling, these trap remixes feel fine when banging down my eardrums. Both tracks are available for a free download from the official SoundCloud here.
