UK-based EDM fans, ready yourselves. Dance music festival Global Gathering is seeing a huge list of performers preparing to do their thing at the Long Marston Airfield by Stratford-upon-Avon late next month. That list is, may I repeat, huge.
While the Splendour festival is getting all the festies excited down under, Tomorrowland is getting the festies excited up north, after announcing it’s theme earlier this week called “The Arising of Life”.
Now don’t fret, the theme isn’t as philosophical as you think…well maybe a tad, think of it more as a subjective theme. Anyway, as seen in the picture above, the festival has gone for a more fantasy-based theme with the deep yet popular proverb tagline: “Yesterday is History. Today is a Gift. Tomorrow is a Mystery.” If the theme set will be similar to that of last year’s gig, this one will be even more epic along with the headliners including Avicii, Armin van Buuren and David Guetta! Consider yourselves lucky ticketholders!
The festival has also promoted the theme through a tv commercial which you can view here.
So whether you’re swaying away at Splendour or moshing it up at Tomorrowland, one thing is certain. The world will be one big festival party in the last week of July! Bring. It. On.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the full lineup for Stereosonic (SS) 2013 has finally been released and it is one of epic proportions!
The headliners this year include the legendary Calvin Harris, David Guetta and Armin Van Buuren. If that trio wasn’t good enough, the rest of the lineup also includes many A-list EDM artists including Empire of the Sun, Above and Beyond, Axwell. Afrojack and Alesso. Other favourite EDM artists that have perfomed at previous SS shows including Zedd, Sebastian Ingrosso are also making a comeback for this year’s big show.

The Guetta’s are back! And they’ve just released their biggest and raunchiest album yet.
In case you haven’t heard the controversy about the cover album, just take a look at your nearest music store as it’s hard NOT to see it. The married couple have been known to release raunchy album covers for their previous compilation albums, from ‘intimate’ poses to passionate make-outs, the couple hardly leaves anything unexposed.
But, looking past the intense and saucy cover, the duo have created an impressive compilation album which features 16 infectious and big-selling tracks–most are collaborations. Here is the track list provided by www.inthemix.com.au:
1. David Guetta ft. Ne-Yo & Akon – ‘Play Hard (Albert Neve Remix)’
2. Calvin Harris ft. Florence Welch – ‘Sweet Nothing’
3. Avicii vs Nicky Romero – ‘I Could Be the One (Nicktim)’
4. Mat Zo ft. Porter Robinson – ‘Easy’
5. Alesso vs OneRepublic – ‘If I Lose Myself’
6. Nicky Romero – ‘Symphonica’
7. Arno Cost- ‘Head Up’
8. Ivan Gough vs Stevie Mink & Steve Bleas – ‘Boom!’
9. Daddy’s Groove & Cryogenix – ‘Vertigo’
10. David Guetta & Glowinthedark feat. Harrison – ‘Ain’t a Party’ [Exclusive]
11. Hard Rock Sofa – ‘Rasputin’
12. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – ‘Wakanda’
13. Tujamo & Plastik Funk – ‘Who’
14. Armin Van Buuren ft. Trevor Guthrie – ‘This Is What It Feels Like (David Guetta Remix)’
15. Empire Of The Sun – ‘Alive (David Guetta Remix)’
16. Laidback Luke & Hardwell – ‘Dynamo’
Impressive tracks, are they not? David Guetta is known for his killer remixes so it’s very likely his remix tracks won’t disappoint. You can download his latest album on iTunes now.
This is possibly the best combination known to man. David Guetta remixing Armin van Buuren’s track ‘This Is What It Feels Like.’
Fresh off his new album ‘Intense,’ it is clear that Armin’s new work is already soaking up attention & becoming a song in high ‘remix demand.’
Listen to one of the best, and probably the best rendition here.
