Destiny’s Child ‘Say Yes’… but it’s a still a ‘no’ for a reunion

Beyonce and Kelly Rowland joined their former bandmate Michelle Williams, along with Beyonce’s sister Solange, on ‘Say Yes’ an EDM interpretation of a traditional Nigerian gospel song ‘When Jesus Says Yes’.  It’s the lead single from Michelle Williams’ forthcoming fourth solo album, ‘Journey To Freedom’. Williams last released a solo album, ‘Unexpected’, in 2008, and despite her profile is yet to have a Top 100 single in the US.

Destiny’s Child last reunited during Beyonce’s power outage-causing Super Bowl halftime show. Beyonce is currently busy organising her forthcoming tour with Jay Z, (which we talk earlier and you can see here), so a Destiny’s Child tour seems unlikely so…that’s all for now.

M.I.A. does a stunning remix of Queen Bey’s ***Flawless.

Released on her twitter page, M.I.A. dropped her remix of Beyonce’s ***Flawless with the message “Beyonce Camp has not replied for months > SO HERE>”

It appears the hardworking and highly opinionated rapper has been trying to set up a collaboration with Beyonce for a while now, so perhaps its Bey’s own fault for not jumping at the opportunity.

The remix outshines the original by a mile, stripping the original to its bare minimum and instead lathering it with typical M.I.A. sound-scapes. Taking the track into M.I.A.’s raw and punchy world of sharp and alert beats, M.I.A. keeps her trademark style evident throughout the track, while simultaneously using scorching echoes of Bey’s vocals.

This is definitely one of the essential anthems that won’t go unrecognised this year, bringing on a huge element of edgy and blatantly loud mixes of the commercial world right into our electro-house music territory.

Beyonce’s new dramatic new hair-do

Images of Beyonce’s new hairstyle emerged yesterday sending fans all over the world into major shock. The singer revealed her new haircut to her 5.4 million followers on Instagram, posting three shots of the super short hair-do.

Fans have been freaking out on social media, with most expressing their dislike. The ‘Single ladies’ singer didn’t post a single comment letting the picture speak for itself. If the image can speak, it appears the singer is loving the new change. Embracing the dramatic change, after many years of having the same long golden locks. Despite many expressing their dislikes, we are loving the new change, FINALLY!!!
