The 26-year-old Dutch EDM producer and DJ Mag’s number one DJ Hardwell has announced he will be touring Australia for three enormous outdoor shows this October long weekend, bringing his acclaimed I AM Hardwell world tour down under. This will mark his second Australian tour this year, having taken on the Future Music Festival stages in March, delivering his signature euphoric production in all its glory.
Full ticketing, dates, special venues and support details will all be revealed on Thursday, 12th June.
After two years locked in his studio working on his new musical project, Seekae come to us with a new single “Test and Recognize”. Also they come to light with some news of their new album details and Australia tour this year.
The new album The Worry will drop through Future Classic on September 12. Percussionist Alex Cameron has taken over vocals for the first time in this proyect, a record they’re calling “their most ambitious and intimate work yet…”
Seekae have locked in a local tour in August, so you will have a taste of the new materia, kicking things off at Darwin Festival on Saturday August 9 and winding up at Sydney’s Metro Theatre two weeks later, with Jonti along for the ride as support, except in Darwin. Tickets go on sale this Friday May 30 – full tour dates below.
Kanye West has postponed his tour down under due to “unexpected timing requirements” to finish his new album, set for 2014 release. The decision also comes after Kanye’s requirements to be on ‘good behaviour’ after his conflict with a paparazzo earlier this year.
Current ticketholders don’t need to worry, as tickets will be accepted on the following dates throughout September:
Band leader and drummer Questlove, released the news on twitter stating that they will be in Australia on the 26th of Dec and are planning on staying for a week in 2013. The Roots were regulars to Australia, starting out at the Vivid Festival in 2003 then coming back in 07 for a Blues and Roots festival. Australian fans were pretty distraught after they canceled on the Good Vibrations festival in 09 and announced they were officially retiring from touring, but hopefully a week in Australia, during the hype of festival season will make up for lost time.
Kim from ‘The Presets’ and Beni are set to heat up venues all around Australia this winter. Both accomplished DJs in their own right have teamed up for a joint Australian tour.
The tour will take them to New South Wales, Melbourne and Western Australian throughout June and July; it’s a tour you don’t want to miss. The tour will not only heat things up, it will make you forget the chilly weather winter has brought.
