After Ultra Music Festival‘s Phase 1 lineup we knew that the standards for Phase 2 were going to be pretty high but they’ve definitely gone above and beyond to pump out this epic lineup!! Check it out:

Wynn Hotel Las Vegas announces 42 DJs/Producers/Artists for 2013

2012 was a huge year for dance music, championed by the every growing club scene in Las Vegas, an influx of national tours and festivals and the undeniable mainstream acceptance of the “EDM” sound. Only a week into the new year and 2013 is already proving to be an even bigger one for our beloved genre – made abundantly clear today as the Wynn properties (Encore Beach Club, Surrender, Tryst, XS) have just announced their expansive residency roster for the upcoming year. From Bassnectar to David GuettaAvicii to Loco Dice, Wynn’s extensive cadre of nightclubs have the sounds to satisfy the full spectrum of electronic music fans.

Managing partner of XS, Jesse Waits, had this to say;

“Our team has worked day and night to present an unrivaled roster of residencies again in 2013 including both major headliners and the DJs we believe to be the next superstars of this genre. We hope to maintain our reputation as the mecca of dance music through these exclusive partnerships.”

Ultra Music Festival Phase One Lineup and Teaser

Running into it’s 15th year Miami’s Ultra Music Festival continues to grow bigger and better than ever before.  Held over two weekends, March 15-17 and March 22-24 Ultra Music Festival is set to provide an experience like no other.

After being leaked by Avicii, Ultra Music festival have confirmed the Phase One lineup which boasts a lineup of DJs and live acts that would put many other festivals to shame. As well as the lineup announcement, Swedish House Mafia have also confirmed that Ultra Music Festival will be the final show of their ‘One Last Tour’.

EDM in Triple J’s Hottest 100

Although the official Triple J Hottest 100 isn’t released until January 26th, J Play have released the top 100 songs played on Triple J in 2012. Not surprisingly, there are stacks of dance music tracks that have ranked well on this list. Coming in at number one is Parachute Youth with Can’t Get Better Than This, closely followed by second place Major Lazer with Get Free and Skrillex at number four with Bangarang.

There are loads of big name EDM artists such as Adrian Lux, Afrojack, Avicii, The Bloody Beetroots, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Diplo, Flume, Flux Pavillion, Knife Party, The Presets and Rudimental to vote for so good luck narrowing your top 10 down!!

Dance Valley 2013 Early Bird Tickets On Sale!!

Dance Valley held at the Velsen Valley, near Amsterdam in the Netherlands returns for it’s 19th year on Saturday 3rd of August 2013.

The line up is yet to be announced, however 2,500 early bird tickets for next years Dance Valley went on sale December 5. Early bird tickets are € 35, ex fee and only remain on sale during the month of December.

If the line up from 2012 which featured Axwell, Afrojack, Above & Beyond, Crookers, Sidney Samson and Pendulum is anything to go by, you won’t want to miss out on this one!!
