Lorde scores four Grammy nominations

A stella year for the 17 year old Kiwi sensation Lorde has been topped off by scoring four Grammy nominations including Record of the Year. With her hit single ‘Royals’ conquering the pop charts world wide, Lorde is undoubtably one of the biggest pop sensations of 2013. She will come up against Daft Punk and Pharrell’s ‘Get Lucky’ , Imagine Dragons ‘Radioactive’, Bruno Mar’s ‘Locked out of Heaven’ and Rob Thicke ‘Blurred Lines’. ‘Royals’ is also nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance along with her record Pure Heroine being nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album.

The Grammys are on January 26.
