This Thursday, June 26th, Detroit rapper and producer Dux Jones will be performing alongside West Coast hip hop icons DJ Quik and Kurupt at the legendary House of Blues in West Hollywood for the Still Smoking Tour.  Hosted by Big Mike and featuring DJ Kid Fresh in the mix, former basketball player Dux Jones will bring his Midwest vibe to a line-up featuring Suga Free, Helecia Choyce, Uiie Popcorn, Av LMKR, and Majesty da God.

Considered a pioneer of the West Coast sound, DJ Quik has produced for the biggest names in rap, including 2Pac, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.  Hip hop fans the world over will also know Kurupt as a former member of Death Row Records during its heyday of the early 90’s, one of the original members of Tha Dogg Pound, and featured heavily on classic hip hop albums The Chronic, Doggystyle, and All Eyez on Me.

Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical, artistic, and theatric influences, up and comer Dux Jones brings a unique mix of fantasy and reality that holds firm to his Detroit roots and provides the ultimate counter-balance to these old school legends from LA.

Red carpet begins at 7pm and show time is at 8:30pm.  To find out more about the event, click here!
