Jamie xx pays tribute to the late DJ Rashad

Over the weekend, Jamie xx featured on BBC Radio 6 Mix residency, has been pumping some electrifying music that’s been invading clubs across the world. He kicked off his 2-hour set with a tribute to the late DJ Rashad by re-remixing his mix of Gil Scott-Heron’s “Home Is Where The Heart Is”, commenting “rest in peace to the both of them,” as the track faded in.

The rest of his set also featured mixes of King Krule, Orson Welles, Paul White and Dreadboy. You can listen to the full set here. During the set, Jamie xx also revealed that his band, The xx, are set to record their third album, which you can find more information about this on their instagram page.
