Bass Center VIII – Presale Tickets Tomorrow

Guys, we have one more day to wait until presale tickets are available for Bass Center VIII NYC!!!  Wednesday July 9th at 11am, whip your credit card out and make a dash for it here.

Madison Square Garden will be going bonkers this September 4th with a lineup not to be missed.  This includes the renowned Bassnectar, Colorado’s livetronica, hip-hop and jazz group Big Gigantic, the outrageous American electronic music producer Paper Diamond, and UK dubstep maniac Rusko.

There will be dedicated party goers crawling the grounds, absorbing and contributing to every inch of this excessively noisy and colourful event.  You won’t want to miss out on making a mess too.

Tomorrowland Sold Out! One Second Later…

tomorrowland01

If you ask someone, what is one festival in the world you’d like to go to one time, you’d find out that most people’s answers would be that of Tomorrowland. Unfortunate to most though, Tomorrowland this year sold out in an astonishing one second! Many people were put in a queue which allowed them to purchase the ticket up to a couple hours later.

The Grammys Announce 2013 Nominees

Grammy-Awards-600x401

Dance music’s presence in last year’s Grammy Awards was undeniable, marking the first time a DJ had been nominated for the ‘Best New Artist‘ category. The DJs and producers who were big in our world had finally crossed over into mainstream relevance by way of Skrillex’s five nominations and three wins. This year, Skrillex received three nominations, each in the categories he won last year. Diplo’s nomination for ‘Best Producer‘ is also an accolade that is long overdue. Only three highly-recognizable dance music artists were nominated in 2012, but this time around there’s a much healthier selection.

Before you get up in arms about the fact that “Levels,” Fire & Ice, and Bangarang were released in 2011, it is important to note that the Grammys only consider releases from October 1st of 2011 to September 30th of 2012 — hence the reason Zedd’s Clarityhas not made the cut, having been released on October 2nd. While we won’t get into the politics of who we think should or should not be on the list of nominees (save that for later), we will say that you can expect a full rundown on who the hell Al Walser is and why his name is on this list.
