Stuart’s diverse corporate background in the digital entertainment markets and transport sectors along with a high community value has seen him develop systems for and manage some of Australia’s largest transportation and community business. With a keen eye for detail and accuracy, Stuart builds financial models that cater for and manage rapid growth and change for start-ups and rapid growth companies.
In 2005 to 2008, while working with a leading Australian entertainment company and mobile solutions house, Stuart developed financial models for the digital expansion of leading entertainment franchises including Batman, Superman and several US based cartoon franchises seeking to expand into the emerging mobile content markets. During this period of time Stuart was part of the development team that built and created the ORDIOR royalty and reporting systems platform see ORDIOR www.ordior.com Stuart has held postings with ORDIOR, SOCOG, Coca Cola Amatil, Guthrie’s Travel, Baiada Poultry, and GEC Alsthom, Halo Pictures, Halo Mobile and advisory roles with some of Australia’s leading “Not For Profit” organisations.
Stuarts ability to break down complex businesses issues and create logistical process and procedure maps that allow business to flow to all corners of a company are his specialist skills.
Stuart empowers and enables staff within companies to be part of the solutions. He builds teams and networks that allow companies to move past emotional and logistical issues that often hinder companies from moving past a start-up phase to a rapid growth phase.
In 2000, Stuart was the General Manager for Sponsor Transportation and the Project Manager for all Buses for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Under his leadership, the Sydney Olympics was able to successfully do what previous Olympics had failed, and that was provide a seamless transport solution. In the process he individually negotiated with over 150 sponsors contracts and 750 coach operators employing in excess of 3500 employees. His plan and management systems generated over $40 million in revenue for the Sydney Bus and Coach industry during the 2 weeks of the Sydney Olympic Games. A feat that today is still globally recognised and one that has not been replicated since.
As the global CFO for DJ Central ASIA, Stuart reports to the board and its partners on the day to day financial operations of the company. Working with the CEO and Founder Mr “DC” David Cornick, Stuart manages the capital needs for the global expansion of the DJ Central Channel business and works to insure corporate governance and accounting standards are managed across the DJ Central ASIA global corporate network.
He is passionate about digital entertainment, digital content markets, baseball, and most of all helping and supporting communities and the less advantaged in this world.
